Signing for the Spring Semester!

Posted by jfullan on June 23, 2014 at 4:55 PM

We are excited to announce a local Iowa signing with Nathaniel Glidewell. Originally from St. Joseph, Missouri, Nathaniel attended and graduated from Cedar Rapids Washington. He played at CRW his first two years of high school and then went on to play for a private traveling team, the Defenders, and was team captain his senior year. Nathaniel was also the leading scorer and rebounder his senior year and nearly averaged a double double. Some accolades was being an All Tournament player his junior and senior year. We expect Nathaniel to be a scoring threat, but also to make great passes and provide strong support on defense. We look forward, at times, to having him guard the best player and will be our physical presence down low.

Nathaniel was asked to play for Calvary Bible College in Missouri, but decided on Emmaus because he loved the tight-knit student body and how easily he made friends when visiting. It is also close to his home in Cedar Rapids. Nathaniel is looking forward to not only learning more about the Bible, but living it out on and off the court. He intends to get his elementary school teaching degree at Emmaus.

So proud of you. Glad you chose Emmaus. You will learn so much more about Christ and become an even greater witness for Him. All your needs will be met through Christ Jesus.
