Tell us where you are from, when you started playing volleyball, and what brought you to Emmaus.

I'm from Wichita, Kansas. I've been playing volleyball since 6th grade. It was definitely all God who brought me to Emmaus because all I did was Google the major and minor that I wanted and I found Emmaus!

Intercultural Studies

What is your favorite memory on the court?

One time I accidentally scored a point off of my face!

What is your favorite junk food?

I love ice cream – chocolate chip cookie dough is probably my favorite.

What is your favorite movie?

Megamind

What is your favorite passage of scripture and why?

I love Romans 8:38-39, because it reminds me that no matter what I encounter in life, God's love is always there.

Tell us why you feel students should come support Emmaus' sports teams.

You should support Emmaus teams because that's what Jesus would do!

Tell us about where you are from, when you started playing volleyball, and what brought you to Emmaus.

I'm from Dubuque, technically outside of Dubuque in the country. I started playing volleyball in 7th grade and I fell in love with it immediately. I wasn't initially planning on attending Emmaus; I thought I wanted to go away for school. I applied anyway because they had a solid elementary education program and I wanted to play volleyball for Neil. I prayed through my decision and the Lord led me to Emmaus and I love it!

What is your major?

Elementary Education

What is your favorite memory on the court (or involving volleyball)?

My favorite moment in volleyball was last year when we beat Faith at their place. It was a close game and we pulled off the win in the 5th set.

Favorite junk food?

Ice Cream

Favorite movie?

The Princess Bride

Favorite verse/passage and why?

Psalm 34:7 - "Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart". This is my life verse! It reminds us to delight in God first and He'll take care of the rest.

Tell us why you feel students should come support Emmaus' sports teams.

Coming out to support us at games is so encouraging to us! I love seeing the stands full of fans; it pumps me up! It also fosters a sense of community within the school
